if you're like me then you absolutely despise conversions. but then again, it gets people on bikes so i can't really complain. our fam at eighthinch recognizes that, and has developed a kit for converting old school road bikes into street fixed gear rat rods. you would think this video would be mad boring, but that first part had me dying. it reminded me of this one time where i found a bike in a dry river bed, stripped it, and sold it on craigslist (true story, it's still rolling around in chico as a conversion somewhere). plus, it comes to show that it's really not that hard to do some of this work yourself.
