yes. sometimes i keep up with MTB stuff at pinkbike. anyway, here's something i found interesting for the blog- this here is a cut out of a tube. yes a tube, specifically the upcoming michelin pro tek tube. the design is square, and has acne on the sides and top. it's wierd, for good reason: with these protrusions, the tube doesnt thin out when you pump it due to excess rubber in the right places. the square shape makes it rest easier on rims, and the whole thing fights against punctures. pretty intense for a tube. you can get more info over here.
