you near a chrome store?: salvage series
(via chromefb)
i love stuff like this. i received an email from chrome telling me about this series and i'm way impressed. here's what they have to say:
"...Meet a whole new Chrome buckle bag series -- Salvage Series.
Our Salvage Series uses reclaimed materials for the external panels of our Heritage Citizen to create unique, one-of-a-kind bags. Built in Chico, California, each series is limited by the quantity of available material. Each bag is stamped with the lot size and its unique number within the lot. Once they’re gone, they’re gone!
For our first go at it, we've re-purposed reclaimed US Army tents. Hunt them down at our Chrome SF, NYC and Chicago shops – limit 40 bags per location – or through select dealers!"
it kinda sucks that this is in-store only, but is understandable since they're limited simply by the amount of material and cant make that many. so what you get is a bag that's unique, whilst still keeping that chrome-ness.
wow i went the whole post without personally mentioning that the bags are made in Chico.
