the physics of ghostriding.

i found this on prolly's joint, and found it extremely interesting. a few years ago i used to whip the ghost ride out as one of my tricks. to be honest, i never cared about the physics, i just knew how to do it. though physics never interested me before, i feel like this relation between physics and bikes is changing my mind. i never knew that trail meant so much to keeping a bike upright (well to previous schools of thought), and well.... discovering that it doesnt have much to do with it is a crazy discovery.
