damn do i miss home. san jose is a mecca of fixed wheel cycling nowadays ever since the fixed gear boom. however, it's always been a good place for avid cyclists because of the drome. out of the 24 tracks in the US, california has three. out of those three, hellyer is the only one servicing northern california- one of the 22 outdoor dromes in the US. sjfixed and iminusd always have a good turnout for hellyer events and are really good at balancing all aspects of fixed riding; on the street jumping off shit or on the banks dominating the pack.
