holy crap, remember not too long ago people were just trying to squeeze 32c's on their volume cutters? seen on this BB17 700c model is a 29 x 2.1 (granted, it's on the end of the dropout, and needs to lose a link or two) which is totally not overkill. sure it can lose the .1 so the axle can fit on the dropout better, but why would you? those are hella big ass tires. not sure how i feel about that cutout on the seat tube yet... it looks like alot was cut out from a seat tube. then again... 2.1's man.... see more of the build at bb17.
