faaaaan-cy: biknd helium case
(via biknd)
transporting a bike without damage via air or whatever takes a good bike box and alot of packaging material. biknd's helium transport looks like a pretty cool concept since it's already used by the canadian olympic triathalon team as well as the garmin-transitions team. it opens up to reveal 2 side aread for wheels, and a center storage for the bike itself. to minimize lateral impact, there are inflatable partitions that protect the wheels from the frame and vice versa. and it's less than 20 lbs.
too bad it runs for 600 dollars. SOMEONE MAKE A CHEAPER ALTERNATIVE PLEASE!
