i met john very briefly in sacramento, and i have to say that he's a god. coming from a skateboarding background, i literally was shaking while i shook his hand- i grew up watching this guy rip for years, and here i was stumbling to say "dude, youre the reason why i run spitfire classics on my deck". he really is a big part of both skateboarding as well as a huge contributor to the fixed gear world making it apt for him to grace the cover of loop; especially in an issue focusing on "THE PEOPLE" congrats duder!
