RIP Laurent Fignon

after 50 years of battling cancer, lauent fignon passes away. not alot of people know who laurent is, but he is the single most badass tour de france champion who ever lived. he won the tour twice, and lost the third consecutive one because he wanted to run dual discs, road bars, and no helmet (whereas greg lemond had an aero helmet, tri bars, and only a rear disc). that resulted in the closest margin for the tour to be ever won (8 seconds, you may have heard that over and over and over in the last tdf). admittedly, he took amphetamines and cortisone during his time as a cyclist, but then again, his riding did some crazy damage to the cycling world. RIP laurent fignon.
